Consultation

every treatment starts with a conversation

A consultation costs you nothing and commits you to nothing. It is how we make sure the treatment fits you — your skin, your features and your expectations — before any booking is made.

Consultation at AD Beauty
01

we talk

You tell me what you would like to change or enhance. I explain what is achievable, what it costs and how it heals — honestly, with no pressure.

02

patch test & pre-draw

A patch test is required at least 48 hours before treatments such as laser hair removal, tattoo removal, brow and lash tinting, brow lamination, lash lift, and other treatments where indicated.

For Semi Permanent Makeup (SPMU), we will carefully map and pre-draw your chosen shape. Nothing begins until you are completely happy and approve the design.

03

your treatment

Once your patch test has been completed (where required), your treatment can go ahead safely. We will explain each step, ensure you are comfortable throughout, and provide detailed aftercare instructions to help you achieve the best possible results.

04

aftercare & follow-up

Healing is part of the result. I stay in touch, answer questions, and top-up appointments are scheduled where the treatment needs them.

Good to know

questions & answers

The things clients ask most before booking. Still unsure about something? Just ask — I'm always happy to talk it through.

Powder Brows typically last 1–3 years, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, skincare routine and how well you follow the aftercare instructions. To keep your brows looking fresh and defined, I recommend a colour refresh every 12–24 months.

Most clients require 6–10 sessions to achieve the best results. Hair grows in different cycles, and laser treatment is only effective during the active growth phase. The exact number depends on your hair colour, skin type, hormones and the area being treated.

Most clients describe the sensation as similar to the snap of a small elastic band against the skin. While there can be some discomfort, treatments are very quick and most people find them tolerable. I always aim to make your experience as comfortable as possible.

No. A patch test is required for all tinting treatments, even if you’ve never experienced an allergic reaction before. Allergies can develop at any time, and patch testing is essential to ensure your safety.

I recommend avoiding holidays immediately after your treatment, especially if you’ll be exposed to strong sun, swimming pools, the sea or excessive sweating. Ideally, allow at least 2 weeks for proper healing before travelling to ensure the best healed results.

It’s best to avoid swimming, hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms and strenuous exercise for 24–48 hours after your treatment. Heat, sweat and chlorine can irritate the skin and increase sensitivity.

The first appointment creates the initial shape and colour, but some pigment naturally fades during healing. The top-up perfects the colour, fills any areas where pigment has healed lighter and ensures long-lasting, even results. It is an essential part of the treatment, not an optional extra.

I recommend avoiding makeup for at least 24 hours after facial waxing or most facial treatments. Your skin may be more sensitive, and applying makeup too soon can increase the risk of irritation, blocked pores or breakouts. Giving your skin time to breathe supports better healing and results.

Please arrive with clean skin where possible. Before your appointment, please let me know if you are taking any medication, are pregnant, have recently had any cosmetic procedures, or have any skin conditions, as some treatments may need to be adjusted or postponed. Most treatments require a patch test at least 48 hours before your appointment.
